Meet Dr. Rakhee Parmar
Growing up, Dr. Rakhee had quite a bit of dental work done, followed by braces. “Because I had a really positive experience with my dentist, I decided at a young age that I wanted to become a dentist.”
Obtaining Dental Education
Dr. Rakhee earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She graduated in 2013. A highlight of her education was providing dental care to children at their school’s dental clinic. Dr. Rakhee did a pediatric mini-residency at the University of Minnesota.
She attended the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry conference, an invitation-only conference that’s held every year.
Forging Relationships With Patients
In addition to providing exceptional dental care to her patients, Dr. Rakhee also is committed to establishing strong relationships with them. She takes the time to get to know each patient and find out what their goals are.
I want patients to feel comfortable coming back for their dental care. They can know that we’re not an in-and-out emergency type clinic. Instead, we have a friendly family feel to our dental office.
Melding the Artistic and Technical
Dr. Rakhee studied art at the University of Michigan. “It is one of my passions.” She loves that her career as a dentist allows her to use her artistic skills. Dr. Rakhee likes to create beautiful smiles for her patients. “I get the same sense of satisfaction from the dental work as when I’m painting a picture!”
